Chelsea Flower Show 2015 Award

We are delighted once again to recieve this award. It recognises the fantastic efforts and wonderful talent of all the many people involved in putting on this exhibition. We are especially greatful to all the team at Coolgardens for their landscaping and planting expertiese. We would also like to thnak the RHS shows team for this honour.

Chelsea plans shaping up

We have teamed up with talented partners this year for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Ruth Marshall is the Director of Cool Gardens, a Chelsea medal winning team of garden designers and landscapers. Ruth will oversee the planting of our stand this year.

Outdoor Design produce bespoke metal fabrications for the garden and landscape industry. They will be providing the steel work this year.

Harvey Stone quary stunning Ham Hill stone in Somerset. We use this stone for our plinths and they are cutting a bespoke paved circle especially for our Chelsea stand this year.

Menzfeld Joinery will be the driving force in the stand construction. Shaun Menzfeld will be on site during the build up injecting his usual talent and enthusiasm into the project.

Chelsea Flower Show Award

Yet another award has been won at the Chelsea Flower Show 2014.

A full 4 stars were awarded to reconnise the hard work and attention to detail which Philip and friends had put in to the exhibition in which Philip's latest work was unveiled.

"This year we are very greatful for the support and help of our friends at Coolgarden.co.uk who designed the planting scheme and planted the stand while Rowlan.co.uk supplied the high quality turf".

Chelsea Flower Show 2014

Spring is here and once again we are planning to wow the gardening world with Philip's magnificent Sculptural Ceramic pots. The stand is an understated and simple design, displaying the pieces at their very best. Meet Philip on stand no. RGB5.

Philip is currently putting the finishing touches to his new designs which will be launched at the Chelsea Flower Show in May this year. Two huge pieces which 'sing' of celebration and delight.

New Pottery Classes Launched

Our new studios at Applehayes now allow us to share our expertiese more widely. Come and enjoy an informal, creative hands-on pottery workshop with Philip and his wife Claire, both qualified and experienced teachers.

One day clay workshops for adults:

You will try your hand at various different hand building techniques. Your work will be fired afterwards and be ready for collection with in a few weeks. The fee includes all materials, tools, firing good coffe and delicious home made cake. Please bring an apron and your own lunch. There are also various pubs locally where good hospitality and fine food is available. Booking essential.

10am to 4pm - £75 each

For children up to 12 years old. 6yrs and under must be accompanied by an adult. They will try their hand at various different hand building techniques and make several masterpieces all of their own. Their work will be fired afterwards and be ready for collection with in a few weeks. The fee includes all materials, tools, firing,  juice and biscuits. Please bring an apron or similar. Booking essential.
